Your main responsibility will be to provide support in the preparation and

1. Roles and Responsibilities

Search for calls for tenders on the internet and via e-mail and make the final selection with the estimation director;

Manage addendums and include them in files;

Prepare the necessary documents and input plans and specifications into the server;

Prepare and send the documents for the bid bond price request;

Prepare workshop drawings and specification sheets;

Compare quotation drawings with construction drawings;

Identify and quantify required components by performing quantity calculations;

Perform all other duties related to the Assistant Estimator position;

Build and develop relationships with contractors for future business opportunities;

Establish work processes to optimize the quotation department.

2. Job Requirements

College diploma (DEC) in mechanical building engineering, building assessment or any other relevant discipline (asset);

Internship experience or at least one (1) year's experience in a similar position;

Experience in the construction sector (asset);

Proficiency in technological tools, Microsoft office suite;

Proficiency in estimating software (asset);

Good understanding of construction techniques and plan reading;

Organizational skills, time management, meticulous document management, attention to detail when inputting data, making entries and calculating costs;

Strong ability to manage stress and to handle multiple and sometimes conflicting priorities;Excellentes habiletés de communication.
